7:30 PM, Feb 4th, Tuesday
Increase Balance and Strength, Prevent Falling

This workshop introduces Taiji principles and a series of spiral movements to provide the participants with tools to develop and increase strength, balance and flexibility, focusing more on the lower part of body. This workshop will include warm-up sessions, natural breathing exercises and overall body conditioning through basic taiji movements, to help participants to regain the center of the body control for fall prevention.

2:00 PM, Feb 22nd, Saturday
Improve Body Alignment, Manage Back and Shoulder Pain

This workshop is to improve static and dynamic postural stability by aligning your body structure through taiji principles and movements. Proper body alignment increases energy flow, and reduces stress and strain on joints and muscles that cause body pain. This workshop will include warm-up sessions, principles of body alignment and self-correcting techniques to enhance the body positioning which will increase circulation and release muscle tension, as to reduce shoulder and back pain.
