Based on a peer review among ACAOM (Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) accredited schools in the US, Five Branches University was ranked as the best acupuncture school in Northern California and the second best in the state of California.
The ranking is based on the following criteria:
- Quality of academic curriculum, faculty and comprehensiveness of the program. Consider the program’s components in acupuncture, Oriental medicine, herbal medicine and western medicine.
- Quality of clinical education, including quality of the faculty, clinic, the herbal pharmacy, clinical externships and clinical community service opportunities.
