To apply for financial aid you must meet the following eligibility requirements:
You are eligible to apply for financial aid for each academic year you are enrolled at Five Branches. You may receive Federal Direct Student Loans during any term of enrollment of six or more units.
You are required to progress through the program at a satisfactory rate and complete the program within the maximum time frame: six years for the DTCM/MTCM program, and five years for the DAc/MAc program.
You are eligible to apply for financial aid for each academic year you are enrolled at Five Branches. You may receive Federal Direct Student Loans for the semesters you have paid tuition (maximum of six semesters).
You are required to progress through the program at a satisfactory rate and complete the program within the maximum time frame of four years. Students who fail to register for practicum training, or students in the thesis are not eligible for financial aid.
To be eligible for In-School Deferment of your Federal Stafford Loans or Consolidated Federal Loans, you must be registered for a minimum of 6 units for the DTCM/MTCM or DAc/MAc program, and registered for a minimum of 7 units for the Postgraduate DAOM Program.
There is no time-limit to receive this deferment as long as you are registered for the minimum units each trimester, and do not have more than a 45-day gap between class attendance or approved Practicum hours. Any gap that is more than 45 days between enrollment activity may result in the loss of financial aid and deferment.
